Hello friends....
Today i will share with you my aloo recipe which is achari recipe. Its a little spice and taste like achar. So we called it achari aloo. it taste very good with roti or paratha. if you want to try some thing different from daily basis veggies you can try it. it is easy to cook and taste very good.
so let's start the recipe.





PREPARATION TIME - 5 minutes

COOK TIME - 30 minutes

TOTAL TIME - 35 minutes

SERVINGS - 3

Ingredients

Potato- 6 nos
Water  
Mustard Oil - 2 tbs
Cumin seeds - 1 tbs
Fenugreek - 1/4 tbs 
Hing/Asafoetida powder - one pinch 
Salt according to taste
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tbs
Chili powder - 1tbs
Kalonji seeds - 1/2 tbs
Garam Masala - 1/2 tbs
Amchur powder - 1/2tbs
Pickle - 2 tbs (mixed)

Method 

  1. Pressure cook the potato for about 4 whistles.
  2. Peel the potatoes and slice them and keep it aside.
  3. Heat a pan with some oil, add cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, asafoetida powder and roast them.
  4. Add the potatoes and roast them.
  5. Add salt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, kalonji powder, garam masala powder, amchur powder and mix them well .
  6. Add pickle gravy and mix it.
  7. Roast the potatoes well.
  8. Serve the Achari Aloo Roast hot with rice or roti.
