Besan Bread pakoda / Gram flour bread pakoda recipe

Gramflour Bread pakoda / Besan Bread pakoda

Hello friends....
Besan pakoda is nice combination of gram flour and bread. This dish is fried and oily but everyone likes it.
You can make it two ways. First with potatoes stuffing in two triangles shaped bread and second one is just dipped into a gram flour solution. I like both of them but besan bread pakoda is simply my favorite. It is very easy to make.

Sometimes we do not understand what to make in the morning breakfast or evening snacks which is easy to make and tastes good. Today I share one of my personal recipes which is easy as well as tasty and healthy too.

The recipe we will try today is Besan Bread Pakora. It is less heavy than other bread pakoras and it becomes instantly, if  your guests come suddenly and you do not understand what to make, then you must try these bread pakoras. Everyone likes it very much. The special thing about these bread pakoras is that we do not use potato at all, then people who are suffering from diabetes and are unable to eat bread pakoras can also eat these bread pakoras.
To make padokas you should choose Mota besan which is easily available in grocery store. Gram flour comes in the market in two ways, one is little thick and the other is finely grind, so I am using mota besan (thick gram flour) here. If you do not have mota besan (thick gram flour) then you can also use fine grind gram flour.
To make besan pakoda add turmeric, salt to taste, red chili powder, coriander powder and mix all the spices with the help of a spoon. Now we will put three to four teaspoons full of curd, finally chopped coriander leaves, half  teaspoon fine paste of fresh garlic and add water in gram flour and mix it well to make a batter.Mix nicely all the ingredients in besan and make a smooth batter which should not be so much thick or thin. Consistency of the batter should be flowing. To fry bread pakoras, heat oil in a pen, do not overheat the oil. Keep the gas on medium flame, now cut one bread into four pieces and wrap all of them one by one in a gram flour mixture and put it in a pan of hot oil and bake till it turns light golden brown on both sides.Besan pakodas are ready to serve.
